There are people all over this country who work long hours creating things we use everyday. They sew, they cook, they deliver, they answer phones. Hourly wage workers who do what it takes to make ends meet. This industrial sewing machine ended up at the metal dump…I hope the people who operated it have new equipment instead of jobs that went overseas.
Today I am thankful for all the people who spend their work day doing the same thing over and over and over and over. Building, creating, assembling, sewing to make ‘stuff’ for other people. If you are wearing a piece of clothing you did not personally make, you are the beneficiary of someone else’s labor…give thanks! And let’s keep Americans working in America, earning a fair wage with an opportunity to make the lives of their family better.
