It’s summer vacation and time for recreation. Here is a classic, shuffleboard. It might seem a bit corny, yet it is a lot of fun. I’m amazed at how much competition coexists with recreation. Playing games means someone wins and someone loses. There are times when you choose not to keep score, and times when no one cares who is in the lead…those are the real times of recreation. Play time should mean play, not play to win.

So what are your plans for the summer? What fun are you going to have? And who is going to be part of your fun? I hope that as we head into our Independnce DAy weekend that you have some fun playing games, not just play games to win. In shuffle board, there is ON and there is OFF. I encourage you to turn OFF this weekend, relax and have fun.
