Inspiration 292: Message over Penmanship

We write with keyboards and we write with pen. Here we see George Washington’s handwriting using quill and ink. This was taken at Valley Forge from a document he sent to the Continental Congress. I like the fact that his writing is less than perfect. He was more concerned with the message than his penmanship.

When you communicate via written word, what are you worried about? I encourage you today to focus on the message not the format…for when the message is true, the format will fall into place to support the goal.
