This is a black eyed Susan up close and personal. Who knew that the center of this perky flower was so much like a raisin? “What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun?” That line from the poem Harlem by Langston Hughes is what I encourage you to think about today.

What dream have you left on the shelf too long? What have you put on the back burner? What have your circumstances prevented you from being, doing, knowing? A dream is a very precious thing…it needs to be cherished, nurtured and chased. It is time for you to dust off that idea and make it shine. It may take some elbow grease or a lot of sweat and tears, but it is worth it. You may be the only person to ever have THAT idea and that means you are the only one to bring it to life.

The time has come for the world to experience the joy only you can bring to life! Whether it is a flower or a raisin…only you can show us the way!
