Inspiration 198: One Way or Another

I had no idea that there were so many options around mobility. This store in Boca Raton, Florida had a plethora of vehicles to choose from. And as you can see by the sign, they can be rented. If you need them due to an injury or failing bodily functions, you can rent one and still be mobile.
Mobility – we all need it, we all experience it…and yet most of us take it for granted. Being able to get up and go where you want unencumbered is a gift. If you can go where you want to go, when you want to go there, and travel the way you want…consider yourself blessed. Not everyone has that freedom.

Today I encourage you to be mindful of those who are less mobile than you. Someone around you might need help putting their groceries into thier car. They might need you to open the door for them as they are pushing stroller. They might even need you to be patient as they walk slower, more deliberatly than you. Hold the elevator door, hold the store door, hold the cab door while they get out. The thing to realize is that they are getting to where they want to go, one way or another…we can all hope to be able to do that for a very long time.
