The dates are quickly approaching for the North Georgia Art Ramble. This two-day event provides an exciting way to see inside the world of artists for all sorts of mediums: photography, pottery, wood working, stained glass, jewelry, watercolor, oils, acrylics, calligraphy AND MUCH MORE!
Articles featuring the ramble will appear in Enjoy Cherokee Magazine, North Georgia Living Magazine, Georgia Magazine and the Cherokee Times Newspaper. The team who put together the Ramble has done an amazing job! Here are the dates and times for the weekend:
December 8-9, 2012 / 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
The website and Facebook page for the event give lots of details and provide a map of all 27 locations. If you are wondering the best place to start – try the Cherokee Arts Center. Located in downtown Canton, each artist or gallery participating in the ramble will have on display a piece of artwork. What a great way to map out what you want to see in person and by visiting each studio for your favorite artist you will learn how it all gets created! It’s like taking a look behind the scenes and learning the REAL joy behind the beauty!

Be sure to map out your plan and be sure that Ann Art Gallery (stop #3) is on your weekend itinerary. We will have daily drawings for prizes, festive decorations and yummy refreshments! We will also have with us the very talented Patty Sledge – wearable artist extraordinaire! Don’t miss this chance to see how creative people produce fantastic art AND revel in the talent that lives in our area of the state.
We can’t wait to see you there!
